Dr. Carlin Lecture

I found Dr. Carlins lecture interesting because she talked about focus groups which I was not too familar with befor. She talked about the difference between online and in person groups, and she stressed the importance of having a good moderater because with out a good moderator the discussion can go virtually no where and the focus group will gain no knowledge from that session. I didnt ask any questions but the ones that were asked and answered were good like the appearance of people to be a leader and so on.

  1. These are important notes, they can serve a good memory tether for you.

Now think about the lessons you have taken from this presentation, especially in relation to our course. For example, for the "difference between online and in person groups", How does it (=what she said) relates to our class discussions and reading?
